So, without much delay, let’s start!
The First Fix: Rock Space WiFi extender will not work well if an insufficient power supply is being supplied to it. Also, a damaged wall outlet will not allow the extender to work properly.
Keep this fix into consideration and rectify the “can’t access the internet using Rock Space WiFi extender” issue from the comfort of your home.
Bonus: Turn the extender off if you find fluctuations in the power/electricity.
The Second Fix: You will not access the internet using the WiFi range extender if it is not connected to the router. So, make sure that your extender and router are properly connected.
For the Rock Space WiFi extender setup process, connect it to your router using an Ethernet cable.
After configuring the extender, connect it to the router using a wireless source. Connecting the devices using a wireless source after the configuration process will help you to access the lag-free internet throughout the house.
So, in accordance with fix 2, here’s to hope that you are now able to access the internet using the Rock Space WiFi extender?
The Third Fix: To access the internet all over the house without interruption, it is very important for your Rock Space WiFi extender to get configured properly. So, for complete extender setup instructions as per the model you have, log in to the device using the http //re.rockspace.local web address and follow the given instructions in the exact given order.
As mentioned earlier, it is important to connect your Rock Space WiFi extender and router using an Ethernet cable during the setup process.
After that, you can place your devices at a distance and connect them wirelessly.
Bonus: Check for the firmware updates available on your Rock Space WiFi extender. If you find any latest firmware available as per the extender model you have, update it right away. Updating the firmware on your WiFi range extender on a regular basis will never let the device work slowly.
Still can’t access the internet? Well, in that case, I suggest you contact your ISP. I did that so and I find that my internet service provider was the culprit. He was not providing me with the actual internet speed I was paying for. Apart from this, he ditches me by keeping all the internet bills pending. I decided to kick him off but he felt sorry and promised me that it will never happen again. I forgive him and asked him to put me on an upgraded internet plan and update the device (router) firmware as well.
I have posted more than 3000 articles using the same router, upgraded internet plan, and installed a Rock space wifi extender. Whenever I face internet connectivity issues, I always apply the fixes I provided here. Additionally, I give my router and Rock space wifi extender a fresh restart (power cycle) every week.
